M. Ayman Ghraowi, M.D.
Dr. Ghraowi, the founder of South Texas Institute of Cancer, received his M.D. from Damascus University and completed his medical training in England receiving a DTOD degree from the University of Cardiff, Wales, U.K. Dr Ghraowi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. He completed his fellowship from Columbia University, N.Y., under Dr. Harvey Weiss. Dr. Ghraowi has a special interest in thrombosis and bleeding disorders.

Hammad Rashid, M.D.
Dr. Rashid completed his Internal Medicine training at the Cornell University affiliate program in New York. He was a finalist in the American College of Physicians New York Chapter research competition and the Joel Gernsheimer Award for Research. Dr. Rashid did his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina, working on new chemotherapy research protocols. Dr. Rashid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Joseph Whitfield, P.A.
He is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in Oncology/ Hematology. He graduated from Okaloosa Community College in Niceville, Florida with an Associates Degree; the University of South Alabama in Mobile with a Bachelors Degree; and received a Master of Health Sciences degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Joe Whitfield provides intermediate care to the practice patients undergoing treatment. |
